About Project:

3D Digitization of Sculptures from the Terra Museum

The project for the digitization of selected clay sculptures from the museum collection was carried out in collaboration with the Terra Museum in Kikinda and implemented through the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. The project focused on the preservation, digital documentation, and presentation of clay sculptures using modern technologies. Large terracotta sculptures by prominent artists from the Terra Symposium, which are part of the museum's permanent exhibition, were digitized. Using photogrammetry, the sculptures were reconstructed and turned into three-dimensional models, which were then refined and prepared for online presentation and archiving.

Results and Impact:

The digitization of clay sculptures has allowed a broader audience to become more familiar with the artworks through digital platforms. It also supports the long-term preservation and promotion of the unique collection of the Terra Museum in Kikinda.
